OPERATIONS DIRECTOR

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily agency operations across all departments.

  • Internally audit departments to monitor operational performance indicators and ensure best practices are used.

  • Ensure compliance with Council on Accreditation (COA), DHS licensing, state and federal laws

  • Work closely with Grants & Compliance Director.

  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements.

  • Participate and support Performance & Quality Improvement (PQI) initiatives.

  • Coordinate policy development and organizational procedures.

  • Collaborate on budgets and purchasing.

  • Oversee facilities, technology, risk management, and safety.

  • Coordinate strategic initiatives.

  • Promote collaboration across all agency programs.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s Degree preferred)

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in progressive management.

  • Experience with non-profits and non-profit operations.

  • Experience with grant implementation.

  • Leadership experience is a must.

  • Supervisory experience.

  • Budget management. 

  • Accreditation and compliance knowledge preferred.

  • Knowledge of non-profit organizations.

  • Compliance analysis.

Agency Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass initial and random drug screening and maintain annual TB card
  • Must have a current Arkansas Driver’s license and insurable under OCYFS’s commercial vehicle insurance policy for those whose job requires provision of transportation.
  • Must receive child maltreatment clearance through the Arkansas Child Maltreatment Central Registry.
  • Must receive adult maltreatment clearance through Arkansas Protective Services-Adult Maltreatment Central Registry.
  • Must receive Arkansas State Police criminal background clearance as mandated by Arkansas Department of Human Services, Minimum Licensing Standards for Child Welfare Agencies.
  • Complete CPR/First aid and behavior management training when job requires working directly with clients in residence
  • Must attend and complete all staff development trainings as required by grantors and agency
  • Must participate in agency-wide PQI program
  • Must maintain current licensing or certification for any position that requires such
