Low-income Home Energy Assistance Program (LiHEAP) - Seasonal program that assists the elderly, low-income, and handicapped persons in paying for gas or electrical costs. Emergency Services - Aids low-income households with prescriptions, emergency shelter, rent, and other basic needs on a case-by-case basis.

Each household may receive this assistance only once per spending period. The Rent/Mortgage category is intended to allow agencies to pay up to a one-month amount of rent or mortgage for qualifying clients. Each household may receive this assistance only one time per spending period.
