The Hot Spring County Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) is the local child welfare agency that works to protect children from abuse and neglect. We do this by partnering with our community to build safe, nurturing and stable families, support family preservation when possible, and provide permanent families for those children who cannot safely return home and to ensure the well-being of children in our care. Change Point Pregnancy Care and Parenting Resource Center of Hot Springs has been helping families and single parents for over 30 years. We have a caring, loving staff, here to help you with free pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, educational materials on fetal development, and referrals to health care facilities. We offer educational parenting classes and programs, fatherhood program and classes, supervised parental court ordered visitation, and Biblically-Faith based classes to help a parent accomplish positive, loving, and solution solving parenting skills.

The goal is to have no waiting children waiting in Arkansas foster care. The mission of The CALL is to educate, equip and encourage the Christian community to provide a future and a hope to children in foster care in Arkansas. The CALL Support Center is open 9:00am-2:00pm Tuesday and Thursday. You can donate needed items such as clothing, diapers, wipes, etc. The resources are for the use of foster and adopted families only. The CALL Mall is a support center for the families of foster and adopted children.

Hillcrest Children’s Home rests on a 52-acre campus with 8 cottages and a 24-apartment center for foster youth preparing for adult living. The residential programs care for approximately 40-50 children and youth at a time. Abused, neglected and otherwise vulnerable children come to us for redeeming care from state, court, church and other referrals. The facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art, audio-visual surveillance equipment in public areas to provide safer quality care. No matter the origin, we provide the professional Christian redemptive care they need and deserve.
